Leah answered, “Poor families sign one paper wrong and lose housing. Wealthy heirs sign away a living man and call it administration.”
Ethan did not defend himself.
He requested review of every document carrying his name.
The receiving facility was owned by Beacon Civic Partners, the same developer purchasing the six resident buildings.
Victoria had negotiated the sale.
She insisted she never knew Marcus was inside.
Charles played a recorded call.
Victoria’s voice said, “Move the old driver before Leah sees him at the gala.”
Victoria replied that she meant another employee.
Leah demanded the full call, not a convenient excerpt.
The final sentence revealed Victoria had been reporting to someone called “M.”
Federal agents traced the number to Mrs. Harrington’s private office.
